Yorkshire artist:Daniel Cimmermann

I would like to meet Daniel or see his work because i feel that the process in which he goes through to create a piece is very obsessive and jittery and i would like to understand the reason behind such a method. He works with image-trhough reproudction to expierment with colour and scale, removing the image from its original context to create a distortion and create a personal response.He draws over paintings with graffiti and markers to create different textured surfaces and  experiments with layering, which i like to do to as i feel it creates an obscuirity and secrecy to a piece."The act of defacing the image is paramount. It then becomes mine and gives me the right to be selfish and manipulate it as I desire." are words of Daniels that i find very interesting as it is allowing me to see that his work has a personal significance as appose to wanting a public acceptance, therefore i would really like to meet him to as him about why he 
creates such distorted and defaced images, and what their importance is to him.
