This Photographer uses everyday items such as clothing, bags and lamp shades to transform a figure. His main interest is the transformation/process of his work: therefore we experimented ourselves in the photography studio to create a similar transformation pieces. i liked this because you could easily create a character with the chosen items. It is also an easy way to play with colour patterns and figure work therefore i could use this as an inspirational form of developing my work if i were to choose textiles or fashion. Below is an example that i did today during my photography induction week.I like how this has come out because it can be seen in different ways. It looks like both a beekeeper and a shepherd, purely from the colours of the fabrics that i choose and the props. It could be a really good way of creating obscure costumes.
